Day four of the hair experiment. I bought bottles at Wal Mart last night so i didn't have to keep using travel-sized bottles. The best I could come up with was a ketchup and mustard combo. I just have to remember that ketchup comes first :) I haven't tried to style my hair yet today, but I will in a few minutes. I'm not foreseeing any major problems. We'll see.
I got to cook last night for our friends. They are getting ready to have their fourth little girl on Monday, and she's having a C-section, so some of us got together and decided to freeze some meals for them. My friends helped me cook, and we mad a chicken lasagna, chicken and wild rice soup (thanks, Chris!), and oatmeal chocolate chip cookies. We had a lot of fun. Two more friends came into the kitchen to cook other things as well, so our tiny little kitchen was full of 5 single, cooking women. Seriously, guys, these girls are amazing cooks. Tell your single, 20-something, globally minded salsa dancing friends that I've got some amazing women living around me right now!
Joys!
1. Quiet office - The bad news was that Bebe wasn't feeling well, so she went home early. The good news was that I had the office all to myself for like three hours. I worked a lot and got to play my music to keep me company. It was awesome.
2. Going off campus - I got to take off for a little while and go off campus to shop at Wal Mart. Usually trips to Wal Mart are not the most amazing things in people's day, but I'm doing my best to enjoy the little things. I enjoy any reason to leave campus!
3. Rain - I love rain. And we had a lot of it yesterday. Like all day.
4. Cooking - I kind of miss cooking, to be honest. It was fun to make the lasagna yesterday. It would have been even more fun if I had gotten to eat it.
5. Logan - I just realized how lucky I am to have him as a friend.
6. Indian Butter Chicken - Jessica cooked a great dinner last night. I thoroughly enjoyed it!
The camera on my phone is also a big draw for the kids who come to visit me. Below are pictures for your enjoyment. Today, every time we took a picture, Jamesy made us say, "Peace out!"

And I just realized that Isa cut off my index finger in this picture. I swear, I was holding up both fingers!!!

Really cute friends Corrie. I am interested in seeing how your new hair care system works for you. It sounds so interesting. Does the vinegar tingle?
