Five Joys for Monday...

I guess I'll have to post these for the day after, because remembering to post every night is just not going to work.

1. Jamesy - My favorite little four-year old boy came into my office yesterday all smiles and hugs. It always warms my heart to see him. I asked him how he thought I should decorate my office and he said, "Paint this part blue...so the boys can stand here. And paint this part pink...so the girls can stand there. And get a trampoline... so we can jump!" All great suggestions. Thanks, James.

2. 6:00 am - I actually woke up at 6 and went to the gym! I was pretty proud of myself for just dragging my lazy butt out of bed, and even prouder when I spent a full hour out there. I haven't been to the gym in quite awhile, so there were lots of jiggly parts to me (even my cheeks were jiggling!), but we'll push past that!

3. My morning pace - because I got up so early, I had plenty of time to grab a cup of tea, read my Bible, and enjoy the (relative) peace of the morning. I don't like rushing my mornings, but my demand for sleep usually overrides that.

4. Heroes - The season premiere was last night! I pretty much love that show and really enjoyed watching the premiere with my friends... even if the TV did keep going out!

5. That sore feeling - Since I haven't worked out in ages, I am totally sore from the poor excuse of an arm workout I did yesterday. I love that feeling. Even though it hurts and sometimes makes your arms so sore you can't pull your clothes off over your head, you know you accomplished something. You pushed yourself at least a little more than usual. Way to go, me!
